Compatibility Mode Chooser
Google does not yet support the same contact name and street address fields that Address Book does. For example, Address Book allows you to specify a first, middle, and last name, but Google just has a single field for the entire name.
Spanning Sync v2.0 allows the user to select whether contacts should retain their Address Book formatting or use only the simplified Gmail fields.
